A magnificent new lodge affording stunning views across the Lygen Fjord to the Lygen Alps. Just 2 hours by boat or road from the city of Tromsø, this superb lodge provides a true wilderness experience year round. Most ably managed by Elizabeth Braathen and owned by Graham Austick, this beautifully furnished lodge caters for 16 guests in a scenic and peaceful location. Stunning views, high standards of cuisine together with a personal service ensures guests enjoy a quality holiday experience.

Activities:

Winter / White Spring
Season: February to April.

The emphasis is on guided off piste skiing. This is energetic and requires a good level of fitness. Access to some mountain areas by skidoo (again guided) can be arranged with prior notice for small groups. Here you will enjoy the unique experience of accessing isolated off piste areas by vehicle or fast boat. You hike up the mountain on skis with “skins” following your experienced guide. You enjoy stunning views and ski from summit to sea.

High Summer
Season: June to September.

A number of guided activities to suit all levels are offered in this season of the Midnight Sun, from late May until late July there is constant daylight as the sun never dips below the horizon. Even in August there is little darkness. The days are long and temperatures can reach 30 degrees celcius.

Walking and Hiking in the mountains, fly fishing for char and salmon in the Reisa Valley are on offer. This area is a painters/photographers dream, stunning scenery, perfect light, clean clear air and abundant wildlife.
